Endurance (E1 – E3)

Endurance is the last program in our curriculum and has 3 levels which develops fitness, strength and introduces swimmers to competitive swimming so once finishing the program, will be ready to join their local Swimming WA affiliated Club!


Endurance 1 (E1); Basic training techniques

E1, Basic training techniques introduces swimmers to swimming training practices and further develops their technique, speed and endurance of competitive strokes.

In E1 swimmers focus on;

  1. Refinement and advancement of competitive strokes,
  2. Race preparation for each stroke,
  3. Reading session sets,
  4. Reading the pace clock,
  5. Speed and introduction to racing.

Session Duration: 1 hour


Endurance 2 (E2); Intermediates training techniques

E2, Intermediate training techniques sees swimmers refine and increase efficiency in the 4 competitive strokes as well as increasing speed and stamina.

In E2 swimmers focus on;

  1. Refinement and advancement of competitive strokes,
  2. Race preparation for each stroke,
  3. Reading session sets,
  4. Reading the pace clock,
  5. Speed and introduction to racing.

Session Duration: 1 hour


Endurance 3 (E3); Advanced training techniques

E3, Advanced training techniques introduces swimmers to advanced training techniques as well as increasing efficiency in competitive strokes as well as increasing speed and stamina.

In E3 swimmers focus on;

  1. Refinement and advancement of competitive strokes,
  2. Race preparation for each stroke,
  3. Reading session sets,
  4. Reading the pace clock,
  5. Speed and introduction to racing.
